Hey, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? I never assume I have created a web site submit in a calendar year or so. I hope you’re all doing nicely in these crazy instances. As often, thanks for studying.
I have a issue: What is your most loved U.S. National Park?
More than the earlier two yrs, I have fallen in like with them.
In advance of the pandemic, I had only frequented a handful of them, mostly by accident. But as soon as the pandemic hit, and it was risk-free ample to road-journey, I drove all close to the state viewing them.
Now I’ve viewed 15 out of 63. And someday, I’d like to see them all.
1st, there was Redwood National Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…
Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling views of nuclear reactors…
Then Utah, home to some of the most effective countrywide parks in the place: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.
Following Utah, I visited Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Incredibly hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is wherever I stay now.
Then there was Big Bend, Texas. The night time sky is remarkable there! You can see so lots of stars.
Adopted by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…
And most just lately, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even observed mountain goats.
I feel so fortunate that I’ve gotten to see so significantly of our attractive nation in the past couple a long time.
When I was youthful, I focused solely on intercontinental journey (this blog is not known as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But over the past two yrs, I’m satisfied to report that I’ve gained a newfound appreciation for my possess yard.
It turns out you never have to fly midway all over the globe to go on an adventure.
As for my preferred? It is a two-way tie among Redwood and Massive Bend.
How many countrywide parks have you visited? Do you have a favored?
(Here’s a finish checklist in circumstance you are curious.)
