Soho House sets sights on Sydney after Melbourne plans scrapped

Customers-only lodge model Soho Household will reportedly make its Australian debut in Sydney’s Darlinghurst, right after a consortium abandoned options for a Melbourne venue, according to the Australian Money Critique.

The AFR reviews that Trenerry Assets Team and Kanat Team bought a a few-storey “island site” at 256 Crown Avenue, around Sydney’s leisure district of Oxford Road, for much more than AU$20 million.

It arrives right after programs to open up a Soho Property Club at a mansion in Melbourne’s South Yarra – which the consortium obtained for AU$18 million in 2021 – have been shelved in latest weeks because of to opposition from regional councils.
